Jessica Nottingham currently serves as the Director of Charitable Gift Planning. In this role, she markets and presents charitable giving options and opportunities to alumni and friends of ECU using both broad messaging and individual outreach strategies. Jessica joined University Advancement in April 2020 after holding various outreach positions at ECU for more than 15 years

Jessica is an ECU alumna and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's in communication and in 2008 with a master's in communication. She also worked as an adjunct instructor in the School of Communication. Her other roles included Coordinator of Recruitment and Marketing for the Honors College and Director of Alumni Relations and Outreach for the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, where her focus was raising funds for the college's priority projects.

As a Pirate for more than 20 years, Jessica has seen ECU change the lives of many. She looks forward to seeing this impact continue and enhancing the university's mission through philanthropic support.

Greg currently serves as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at ECU. He is responsible for setting the goals, objectives, quantitative analysis and strategy for all estate planning gifts and gifts of complex assets. He also oversees and leads the ECU Annual Giving Program and the ECU Corporate & Foundation Relations Program, each of which collaborate across the ECU Foundation, Inc., ECU Health/ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation, Inc. and the ECU Educational Foundation, Inc. (Pirate Club). Greg joined the ECU development staff in 2003 and has held the positions of Major Gift Officer, Director of Planned Giving, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development and Associate Vice Chancellor for Development prior to his current role.

Greg received his bachelor's degrees in business and sports management in 1993 from Barton College. He received his master's degree in exercise and sports science in 2006 from ECU. He became a certified fund-raising executive in March 2004 and has served as President of the NC Planned Giving Council. In 2025, Greg received his Charter Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation through the American College of Financial Services. Greg understands how additional philanthropic resources can impact the lives of our citizens and genuinely enjoys helping donors create a legacy that will make a lasting difference at ECU and beyond.
